These terms govern your use of the BH Tek Bookkeeping website, bhtekbookkeeping.com, and describe the general terms under which BH Tek Bookkeeping LLC ("BH Tek Bookkeeping," "we," or "us") provides its services. By using this website, you agree to these terms.

Our services

BH Tek Bookkeeping provides bookkeeping services to small businesses, including monthly bookkeeping, QuickBooks cleanup, month-end close, payroll processing, and efficiency consulting. The specific services, fees, and schedule for each client are set out in the engagement agreement signed by that client. If anything in these terms conflicts with a signed engagement agreement, the engagement agreement controls.

Bookkeeping is not tax or legal advice

Our bookkeeping services organize and maintain your financial records. They do not constitute tax preparation, tax advice, or legal advice unless those services are expressly included in a separate signed engagement. You are responsible for your tax filings and legal obligations, and we recommend that you work with a CPA or attorney for tax and legal matters. We are glad to coordinate with your CPA and to keep your books ready for them.

Client responsibilities

Accurate bookkeeping depends on accurate inputs. Clients are responsible for providing complete and truthful records, for reviewing the financial reports we deliver, and for letting us know promptly about errors, missing accounts, or business changes that affect the books.

Fees

Fees are based on the scope of services described in your engagement agreement. Fees may change if the scope of work changes, and we will discuss any change with you before it takes effect.

The content on this website is provided for general information about our business and services. It is not financial, tax, or legal advice for your specific situation. You may view and print pages from this website for your own use. You may not copy, republish, or misuse the site's content or interfere with the site's operation.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BH Tek Bookkeeping's liability arising from the use of this website is limited to the amount you paid us for the services at issue, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
